Valentines
The WMU is collecting valentines and razors for
the VA Hospital. They need to be at the
church by Sunday, February 5.
Youth Super Bowl Party
We will gather @ the Woody's @ 6:00 pm for supper prior to the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 5.
There is school on Monday so have your parents
pick you up when needed.
Hazel Moon
Hazel Moon will meet @ the church on

Food Pantry
There is a need in helping with the distribution of goods from the Food Pantry. The Food Pantry is open on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays from 9-11 am. If you are interested in helping, please contact Vickie Rookstool (254-1971).
Parents Night Out
The Youth will host Parents Night Out on Friday, February 10 @ the church. Please see upcoming bulletins or Brad for more information.
Food Pantry
We will be in charge of the Food Pantry on the following Saturdays @ Buchanan Presbyterian

August 11, October 13 and December 12.
WRE Trailer Fundraiser
The Bible Trailer in Buchanan is in need of a lot of work. Andy and Eric are in the process of raising the money and will be doing the work. We will have a Car Wash/Cup Cake Fundraiser on Saturday, February 11 @ James River Car Wash from 10 am – 3 pm. We need cup cakes in packages of six. The cost will be $3 for six. Car Washes by donation. If you would
like to help please see Andy or Eric.

WMU Children’s Ministry Day
This year’s day is Saturday, February 18 and will
focus on education. Our Children’s Mission Group
is collecting supplies for the Baptist Mission
Centers in Roanoke to disperse to children
in their programs.
Children’s Mission Group
On Sunday, February 19 @ 11:00 am all children through Grade 5 are invited to attend this study.

Lenten Service
Our first Lenten service is Tuesday, February 28
@ Buchanan Presbyterian @ 12 noon.
Autism Class
There will be a representative from the Blue Ridge Autism Center here on Tuesday, Feb. 28 @ 6:30 pm to share basic information regarding working with autistic children. There will be soup and sandwiches so please let Sharon know if you will attend. We have some autistic children who come on Wednesdays so this
will help us to minister more effectively to them.
Senior High Weekend
Grades 9-12 @ Eagle Eyrie on March 9-11. The Youth will help with a Wednesday Supper to help defray the
cost. Please see Brad for more information.
Mission Trip
The Roanoke Valley Baptist Association coordinates the Mission Trip to Standing Rock Reservation. There will be a meeting following the worship service on Sunday, February 19. You can still sign up to go even if you didn’t come to the first meeting. This year’s
trip is July 22-27. See Sharon or Della for more
information.
Evening of Elegance
This is a fundraiser for the ICCD Mission. It will be Saturday, Feb. 25 @ Fincastle Baptist.
Mission Team
The Standing Rock Mission Team will be having a Baked Potato/Chili/Hot Dog fundraising lunch following worship on Sunday, March 4. You may
get your meals ‘to go’ or eat in the Fellowship
Hall. Donations accepted and appreciated.
